This script is free, only if you follow these simple rules. You must leave all upper and lower tags on the webmaster signup form and admin control panel. Also you must leave the account: tsp alone! Never edit it, or change the settings. You will be sending me 25 hits a day, everyday after midnight. If you remove this account, you will be breaking the terms and conditions. A LITTLE BACKGROUND INFO: Well, lets get to the heart of the mater... You need traffic, lots of it! Thats how you make money, is on traffic. Well, I suck at getting traffic, so I started looking around for a better way... Not untill two weeks ago (today is Oct. 1st 1999), I found by accident the Ucj script site. I was impressed, but being a semi programer, decided to write my own program to my specs. Don't get me wrong Tim wrote a killer script! I recommend that one too! Run them both! You won't be sorry!!! We are both free... My scripts are upload & go... Just upload them and set your chmod values, then do some editing, and create/edit your website to work with the script. Its simple! If you run Windows NT, you need to put the exact server path to the tsconfig.dat file in all scripts except the tscalc.cgi script. Also, since I am lazy, I did not provide a work around for sendmail... Sorry, it isn't that important to me... SO WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DOWNLOAD? This is probably one of the most easiest scripts out there to install, at least in the circle jerk variety. Ok, first unzip the files onto your hard drive... make sure you keep directory information... saves trouble.... On my server I have a cgi-bin, then I
created a sub directory within the cgi-bin just to keep things nice and neat because I run
lots of scripts...
THE INSTALL When you ftp your files make sure you
chmod them according to the chart above... Please chmod all .cgi to 755 and if you are
lazy chmod the rest to 777... It all ways works on a chmod 777. :)

Every once in
awhile a programmer likes to do something a bit different... Well, I did this... I use
tags to display user and configuration info... You will have to use these tags and modify
the headers and footers, also welcome and email messages... its easy, just edit the ones
that come with this package...
Thats about it, make sure you use the right tags! Wouldn't want the wrong info to be displayed! YOUR WEBSITE Well, you are set! Design your webpage
to circle jerk or what ever else you want to do... These are the urls that you will want
to use... http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/tsp/tsout.cgi?any_text_here FUNDAMENTALS OF A CIRCLE JERK A Circle Jerk Site is a site basicaly with zero content, and every time a surfer clicks a link, he is redirected to another trading site. I feel this is a good way to earn extra cash. With traditional ways of putting up pics and getting listed on Persian kitty and other link sites is ok, but a waste of bandwidth! Why give a surfer free content, make them pay! Get creative and put a few links to your sponsors, and or use email collection boxes... Also popping up an exit console with links to sponsors works great. Please follow your sponsors rules! Ok, so what you want to happen with your Circle Jerk site is to have your Out going hits greater than your Incomming hits... This is achieved only by a clever HTML page design. If you do not meet this requirement the script will not pull hits out of thin air for you, its not magic its physics... For ideas of Circle Jerk HTML pages that work look at other circle jerk sites around the net. Or visit the sites included within this html document. Also try Sextracker or maybe the Hitbox. Ok, from my two weeks experence :) I have found an average of 1.2 or 120% is pretty much standard. Ok, I have had as high as 149% and as low as 82% during testing... So I recommend when trading with other script sites trade at 120% or less... In time you will see your overall percentage, and can adjust accordingly. Ok, and for your non-script trades... Set it at 100%, because its not a program sending you traffic, its even more difficult to trade with, unless you are working out a special deal... |
