Description
I wrote this little software because I'm using my people files very often and searching a person is long and boring for me. Now, life is beautiful... :-)
When you select a person in the list, the preferred application for people files is launched.
When you select a person in the list with the SHIFT key pressed, the preferred application for email is launched.
If you add or remove people files, select the "Reload the list" item for updating the list.
This application is a Deskbar replicant.
New with the V1.1 :
- New option : Create a new person.
- New option : Open the people folder.
New with the V1.2 :
- QuickLaunchPeople is now persistent across boots. (You can remove the line you have inserted in the UserBootscript).
- New option : if you hold down the SHIFT key when you are selecting a person, your preferred email client is launched instead of the people application.
- New feature : people that don't have any email adress are displayed in red in the list.
New with the V1.3 :
- new About window (non modal).
- the package includes the sources.
